So, if you want kids to be honest, you also have to start being honest first.
If you as parents have tried to instill honesty in children, why children can lie? There are several reasons. First, the child’s parents feel less attention. Children also tried to find the attention to the lie. Children can tell a lie neighbor of good things, it could be about things that are bad.
Second, it could be a child to lie because it has high imagination. When told of a case, the child can exaggerate so without knowing it, children have been boasting or lying.
The solution, of course you need to spend more time with your daughters. If the limited time with the baby because you are busy, improving the quality of being together with them. However, if the child has a high imagination, take the kids to assemble a story that contains a good example-swallow (commendable story) and do this in a game or bedtime stories. Only, you need to tell children about the difference between truth and imagination of the world.
Teach honesty can start from simple things. For example, you can ask a child for school activities, such as whether he behaved well to teachers and friends. Can also ask a neighbor for change after son own pocket.
As a parent, you also need to get used to speaking the truth in children. For example, when going to work every day, tell them that you will go to work to buy milk and good food for them.
You also need to be taught that acts of dishonesty has its own consequences. For example, when caught telling a lie, pancinglah for your child to tell the truth, but with a tone of gentle and affectionate. Do not let the snap / judge in a tone loud, because this will actually make the child more frightened and eventually hide the truth from you.
