Six Love Languages of Dad and Daughter

Being a parent is a role full of happiness, but responsibly. Not an easy role is also often faced with the dilemma conditions. Do we want to be authoritarian or permissive parenting? Because the truth is necessary to establish the character of the balance of rigor, discipline, humility, and positive thinking. All of this can be realized with open communication between children and parents.

Sometimes, communication between father and daughter have their own frictions. Though father was the first male character who recognized the daughter. How will daughter define a man, learning her first obtained from the father. Patterns of interaction that occurs between father and daughter will form our daughter become women who are confident and courage to make choices, especially when it comes time to choose life partners.

Listen the language of love that can make our daughter have a more mature character.

1. Treat our daughter according to age, because she’s not forever be  little girl.

If we continue to think she likes a child then she will never truly become a mature individual. Let our daughters grow up according to age and face the responsibilities that are already to be accepted. Thus she will feel valued and appreciate themselves.

2. Speak openly, do not just listen but try to understand what she wants.

Do not speak in a commanding voice, because that’s not the only way to make us respectable. After all the tough talk style, or in a commanding voice will not make the daughter keep the message we convey in a long time, and made her less confident. Present opinion calmly and get it  into the rational explanation that we provide.

3. Let our daughter be an independent person.

Person who decides things based on self-awareness not only impulsivity. Father is okay to give opinions, but that does not mean forcing a daughter to follow father’s wishes. Because without realizing it, when daughter has the courage to dare and she will be responsible for her choice.

4. Father needs to show that he has always respected women.

How can it be done? By treating wife, mother, or sister with respect.

5. Do not shy to express your love.

Feel the sincere love of the father, will make the daughter feels safe and trust in us as parents and friends. It is then naturally forming the warm interactions between father and daughter.

6. Teach our daughters in the principle itself.

We will not be able to assist 24 hours a day our daughter, then provide them with a strong principle of self. That way, they will not be easily fooled by the lure of her friends. Our daughter is growing into a mature woman with strong principles of life.

At the time our daughter has the concept of a good relationship and interaction with her father, it will be transmitted to their children someday. This is a legacy that will always be valuable throughout the generations
