Christian Louboutin : Glass Slippers for Cinderella

As if to make a real fairy tale Cinderella, the famous shoe maker, Christian Louboutin is designing a pair of slippers inspired by Cinderella.

The glass slippers will be introduced to the public in conjunction with the re-release the animated film Cinderella next summer. Christian Louboutin known for his red soles said it would give a touch of magic in this famous footwear.

“I am very fortunate to have crossed paths with Cinderella. An icon is a symbol to the world and the dream world of shoes,” Louboutin said in a WWD.

This is not the first time the shoes of a fairy tale inspired fashion products. Several years ago, Maison Martin Margiela also create their own interpretation of the glass slippers and produced in limited quantities.

Meanwhile, Snow White is also likely to be the main source for fashion trends this year, thanks to the new film ‘Snow White and the Huntsman‘. The film inspired the production of a kit-style beauty Kristen Stewart who plays the character of Snow White, as well as a collection of haute couture wardrobe evil queen, played by Charlize Theron.
