Intimacy 2.0 : A Stunning Dress

A futuristic dresses will be coming soon for fashion lovers who dare to be different. The stunning dress will turn transparent when users are passionate!

These unique creations born from the hands of a Dutch designer, Daan Roosegaarde. The dress is given a name: “Intimacy 2.0“, made from smart fabrics, which will change color from black to fade and more transparent when electrified body, which comes from the users heart rate accelerated.

Roosegaarde create the dress of leather and paper efoil. The dress also uses wireless technology, electronics, LED, copper, and other media.

Roosegaarde called his creation as ‘poetry-techno‘. “The technology used here is not only functional, but also tools to create Intimacy 2.0 as well as directly to privacy. In contemporary society we are becoming increasingly important technology,” he said.

The designer is also planning to create a version of the dress that responds to each time the wearer feel happy or ashamed.

This futuristic dress has been exhibited in China, Tate Modern, the Victoria Museum, and many other international galleries.

Designers get a series of awards including the Dutch Design Award and China’s Most Succesful Design Award.
